Chris Barr

Chris has significant experience in domestic and cross-border restructuring and formal insolvency situations, advising the full range of stakeholders including debtors, creditors, sponsors and insolvency practitioners. Chris has been involved in major corporate insolvencies and restructuring transactions in Australia and the United Kingdom, along with significant experience in working on cross border transactions involving the United States, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands.

Prior to joining Ashurst, Chris spent a number of years in London where he worked in the restructuring and insolvency teams as an associate in a Magic Circle firm and senior associate in a leading US law firm.
