Cécile Henlé is a partner in our tax practice
Cécile specialises in international tax law, focusing on advising multinational clients on cross-border transactions and group restructurings. In addition, she has a strong expertise in the structuring of private equity deals and of Luxembourg regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds. Cécile also has extensive experience in tax litigation, covering all the services required by the clients from the prevention of tax conflicts with the Luxembourg tax authorities, to their representation before the Luxembourg courts and the European Court of Justice. She has finally developed a broad experience in advising a range of (U)HNWI clients, being recognised as a Band 1 lawyer in Luxembourg in this field.
Cécile is active within several workgroups of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) and the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA). She is also member of the writing committee of the tax law magazine edited by the main legal editor in Luxembourg (Legitech – Revue de droit fiscal).
Cécile is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and former president of the Young IFA, Luxembourg branch. She is also member of the Association luxembourgeoise des juristes de droit bancaire (ALJB) and several. women tax and legal associations in Luxembourg and in France.
She was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2004 and speaks English and French.
