Project finance hire marks critical step in Ashursts ambition to be leading projects firm

    Over a stellar career, the roots of which trace back to the 1980s, Betty has been a key player in the development of project finance as a product and its subsequent application to a significant range of transactions in the US, Latin America and elsewhere. She was formerly a partner at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP in the Latin American and Project Finance Practices where she garnered a wide array of accolades including consistent recognition in leading legal directories such as Chambers Global, Chambers USA and Chambers Latin America. She has unparalleled experience advising clients in relation to the development, financing, construction and operation of capital-intensive projects, including projects and public-private partnerships in the transport, energy and water sectors. Betty joins from Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, where she has worked since 2012.
