Edward Sparrow appointed chairman of City of London Law Society

    The CLLS is the professional representative body for the largest national and international law firms in the City of London. The role of the CLLS chairman is to represent the views and concerns of member firms and to promote good relationships between City firms, policymakers and other key stakeholders.

    Edward replaces chairman Alasdair Douglas, former senior partner of Travers Smith, who has held the role for five and a half years.

    A partner at Ashurst for over 35 years, Edward specialises in financial services regulation and City-related disputes, and will continue to be a partner at Ashurst.

     

    Edward Sparrow said:
