Cristina Calvo has won the Client Choice Award 2019 for the Spanish Real Estate Category
Cristina Calvo, partner in Ashurst Spain's Real Estate practice, has been awarded the Client Choice 2019 award in the Spanish Real Estate category for a second year in a row. Cristina is also head of region for Continental Europe and head of clients and markets for EMEA and the USA.
Cristina has extensive experience advising Spanish and international clients in all areas of the property industry including acquisitions, disposals and construction, fund structuring, joint ventures, real estate financing as well as real estate litigation and arbitration. She also has wide experience in restructuring, distressed transactions and insolvency matters.
She also advises on all areas of the real estate sector, with particular focus and expertise in the Built Environment, development and distressed spaces. As for types of clients, her focus is on financial institutions and funds as well as developers.
In 2007, Cristina was recognized as one of the best Iberian lawyers under 40 years old in the Iberia's Top Lawyers under 40 awards and in 2012, the British legal publication "The Lawyer" recognised her as one of the most influential lawyers of the year (The Lawyer Hot 100). Since 2018, Cristina is Head of Continental Europe and Head of Clients and Markets for EMEA and US in Ashurst.
The Client Choice Awards organized by the English publication International Law Office and Lexology, recognizes worldwide law partners that stand out for an excellent client service and for the quality of the legal advice they offer.
