"We are delighted to welcome Hillman," Asia Pacific head of dispute resolution Jeremy Chenoweth comments. "Many of our clients have very significant operations and interests within Indonesia and there is a strong need for a high-calibre dispute resolution practitioner to support them. Hillman is a leading litigator who has advised his clients on a wide range of complex commercial disputes. His local market knowledge, expertise, and experience will add bench strength to the firm's existing capabilities, and enable our team to better service our clients in the region."

Hillman adds, "I am delighted to be joining the OSP team and to be working with Ashurst given the firm's exceptionally strong global network. I am impressed by the firm's collaborative culture and client centric approach, and I look forward to bringing my skills and experience to further develop the firm's practice in Asia."

Most recently, the firm has bolstered its global dispute resolution offering by a number of lateral hires including the Head of Public International Law & Investment Arbitration Arne Fuchs, based in Frankfurt, partner José Ramón Casado, based in Madrid, partner Adam Jamieson, based in London, and partner Martin Eimer, based in Munich.
