For the twelfth year running, our international real estate and real estate finance teams invited clients, prospects and business friends from the property industry for a drinks reception on the first day of EXPO REAL, Europe's largest real estate and investment trade fair held annually in Munich. The reception took place on 8 October at the city's stylish ELLA Bar, providing attendees with great opportunities to network, explore new business options, foster existing and initiate new business relationships. Our event was attended by more than 100 guests, including representatives of important international real estate players and Ashurst clients like Aberdeen, AFIAA, Art-Invest, Corestate, CORPUS SIREO, Curzon, d.i.i., ERGO insurance, Hamburg Trust, IntReal, Oxford Properties, PATRIZIA, R+V insurance, RFR, Tritax and Warburg-HIH. Ashurst lawyers from Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Munich and Paris were present and networked with the guests.

Liane Muschter, head of the German real estate team, said:

"Expo Real is undeniably the most important real estate industry event in Germany which brings together market players not only from Germany but from all over the world. Real estate is an industry that is becoming more complex, yet more transparent and accessible. It sees the development of new ways of collaborating outside traditional industry boundaries and the rise of new business models and ideas. Our real estate and real estate finance experts are always up to reflect and adopt market trends and share this know-how to provide our existing and new clients with concise and commercially relevant advice on real estate investments and their financing. The Ashurst drinks reception offers the property community a great post-fair forum to exchange views and expertise."

This year's EXPO REAL, the 21st edition of the fair, has broken all previous records again with 2,095 exhibitors from 41 countries and 44,536 participants from 72 countries.
