Ashurst strengthens restructuring practice with new partner hire

Jason joins from Corrs Chambers Westgarth's Perth office, having previously been based in Sydney for five years. Before joining Corrs, Jason was based in London for over a decade and was a partner with Kirkland & Ellis and Greenberg Traurig practising in the event driven distressed funds restructuring space. He specialises in special situations funds looking to invest in Australia, and has acted on some of the most complex and high profile recent debt restructurings in the Asia Pacific region.
James Marshall, Ashurst's practice head for restructuring, insolvency and special situations, commented:
