The Top100 Awards bring Australia's major graduate industry stakeholders together to celebrate top talent, employers and universities. The LegalVitae Most Popular Clerkship Employer Award is determined by the number of Australian university students that apply for Ashurst's clerkship programme through the LegalVitae platform each year.
Also that evening, the prestigious Ashurst Future Leader Award was presented to student Jessica White from the University of Technology (UTS), after a rigorous testing process to determine she is the law student category leader in the Top100 Future Leaders Competition. The competition allows participating students to try out an actual graduate recruitment process.
Head of HR, Australia, Richard Knox commented: "We are delighted to be Australia's most popular clerkship employer. It is fantastic recognition of the firm's commitment to recruiting top tier talent and providing a valuable programme for our clerks. It was also a pleasure to present the Ashurst Future Leader Award to Jessica White from UTS, who is a deserving candidate for the award recognition."
The awards were held at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney on 8 February.
