Ashurst hires Paris international arbitration practice head

    Ashurst announces the appointment of Emmanuelle Cabrol as a partner to lead the international arbitration team in Paris. 

    Emmanuelle has previously worked in Herbert Smith Freehill's international arbitration group, having been appointed partner there in 2010. With more than 15 years' experience handling complex international cases in a number of jurisdictions, Emmanuelle acts for large corporates in commercial disputes across a variety of sectors including energy, mining, infrastructure, defence, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals. She also has particular expertise in disputes involving states and has acted in a series of investment disputes, notably ICSID proceedings, both on the side of the state and of investors. Emmanuelle also serves as an arbitrator.
