Ashurst announces new global management structure

    Following the appointment of Managing Partner Paul Jenkins, Ashurst today announces that it will be introducing a new global management structure, effective immediately.

    The firm's Executive Team will now comprise of a number of new appointments to the firm's three global divisions:

    • Corporate: co-led by Perth-based Geoff Gishubl, who previously held this role, and London-based Robert Ogilvy Watson
    • Finance: led by London-based Helen Burton
    • Disputes: London-based Simon Bromwich will continue to lead the division

    Other significant appointments to the senior leadership team include the roles of Head of Clients and Head of Innovation.

    London-based Logan Mair has been appointed Head of Clients, with responsibility for developing and implementing the firm's global client and industry strategy.

    The Head of Innovation role will be co-led by Glasgow-based Mike Polson and Sydney-based Jamie Ng with the responsibility of ensuing the firm remains at the forefront of change in the legal industry.

    The changes to the structure also see Simon Beddow being appointed as London Office Managing Partner, with Shaun Lascelles as Singapore Office Managing Partner and Shawn Wytenburg as Sydney Office Managing Partner.
