    Ashurst today announces that international arbitration partners Ronnie King and Ben Giaretta will be moving offices, with Ronnie King relocating to Singapore and Ben Giaretta returning to London after seven years in Singapore.

    Ronnie King has been a partner at the firm since 1994 and has extensive experience of handling disputes for multinational corporates throughout the world in a variety of industries including energy, power and telecommunications. Ronnie sits as an arbitrator, he is a solicitor advocate and also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. In Singapore, he will work alongside international arbitration partner, Rob Palmer, who has been based in the region since 2003.

    Commenting, Ronnie King said:

    "I am excited about moving to Asia to join Rob Palmer as part of Ashurst's successful arbitration team in Singapore. Singapore has become one of the pre-eminent international arbitration centres and Ashurst has a very strong arbitration team in Singapore, part of our broader disputes team in the Asia-Pacific region."

    Ben Giaretta is a Chartered Arbitrator and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a solicitor advocate. He appears as counsel in arbitration and has also sat in many cases as arbitrator. Ben's work is primarily focused on the resolution of disputes in the energy, construction, engineering and infrastructure sectors, and he is returning to London where he worked for ten years before moving to Singapore in 2009.

    Ben will join the firm's other international arbitration partners in London, including Matthew Saunders, who is moving to Ashurst in May from DLA Piper where he was the co-head of DLA Piper's international arbitration practice

    Ben Giaretta said:

    "I have very much enjoyed my time living and working in Singapore over the past seven years, but I am looking forward to the new chapter in my life, returning to London and joining our outstanding international arbitration team there."
