Ashurst advises Woolworths on A$127 million shopping centre sale

Ashurst worked with Woolworths on the sale of Prestons Place in Prestons (NSW), Rosenthal Shopping Centre in Sunbury (Vic) and a majority interest in Vincentia Marketplace in Jervis Bay (NSW).  

These shopping centres provide everyday and specialty retail and integrated amenities, including Woolworths supermarkets (which were leased back as part of the sale documentation). Ashurst advised on structuring of the sale, future use and documentation of the deal, and Woolworths in-house legal team completed negotiations.
