Ashurst advises St William Homes on Lea Bridge Gasworks regeneration

    The authorised scheme is for the comprehensive phased development of the brownfield site to provide a mixed used development comprising 573 new homes with commercial uses in ten buildings ranging from 2 to 18 storeys together with significant public realm, sustainable energy and transport measures plus connectivity with the surrounding area and neighbouring Leyton Jubilee Park.

    Ashurst has provided comprehensive planning advice to St William Homes throughout the planning process, supporting the preparation of the planning application and Environmental Statement, assisting with the determination process and negotiating the section 106 agreement which secures various planning obligations including affordable housing, viability review, new public routes and low carbon energy.
