Ashurst advised a non-bank lender (Direct Lending Funds) on the refinancing and realignment of the financing of DvH Medien group. The parties agreed not to disclose the amount of the loan.
The new long-term financing is intended to ensure sufficient financial flexibility to DvH Medien group for the coming years. It also supports the group's growth strategy.
The Stuttgart based media holding company DvH Medien GmbH is a shareholder in major German media companies, including Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt, Zeitverlag and Tagesspiegel group. In addition to daily and weekly print and online publications, the group is one of the leading organisers of seminars, conferences and continuing education in Germany.
