Ashurst LLP advised M&G Real Estate on the acquisition and financing of the Greenwalk property located in Suresnes, France, worth €126.5m. This property, developing a useable surface area of circa 22,500 sq.m. host notably the headquarters of Philips France and Direct Assurances. It has been purchased by M&G Real Estate from a joint-venture formed by Norges Bank REM and AXA France. The acquisition was partly financed by Bayern LB.

The Ashurst team in Paris was led by real estate partner Guillaume Aubatier. Associates Dorian Scemama and Malvina Dahan assisted on the real estate aspects. Hassan Javanshir, partner, and Camille Chadab, associate, were involved on the real estate finance aspects. Emmanuelle Pontnau-Faure, partner, and Solène Guyon, associate, were involved on the tax aspects. Anne Reffay, partner, was involved on the corporate aspects.

Ashurst worked on this transaction alongside the notary firm Flusin, Mirallès, Estèves et Associés (Maître Mirallès) in which Ashurst hold a shareholding stake and which was in charge of the notary aspects of the deal.
