Ashurst advised the lenders on an expansion financing for Sanecum Gruppe GmbH, an operator of multidisciplinary medical care centres. The financing is provided by a syndicate of banks and credit funds and, in addition to a refinancing facility, comprises various acquisition and investment credit facilities with a total financing volume of approx. €145m. The financing is intended to provide new funds for investments to implement the group's further growth strategy.
Sanecum group operates more than 20 medical care centres at 41 locations across Germany, making it one of the major outpatient healthcare structures. In metropolitan areas, Sanecum offers integrative care models combining different disciplines and supports networking and treatment pathways particularly in the areas of nephrology and cardiology. Thus, patients can receive holistic care from various specialists in a network.
