Ashurst advances leading position in Chambers and Partners 2021 APAC ranking results

    In Australia, the firm gained new or higher rankings in eight practice areas, including Banking and Finance, Employment (Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia), Insurance, Anti-Bribery & Corruption and Life Sciences. The firm also maintained its longstanding Band 1 ranking for General Business Law in Papua New Guinea.

    In Asia, the firm has earned 29 practice area rankings across Brunei, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and South Korea and increased its ranking in eight practice areas including Projects & Energy (India), Projects & Energy (Indonesia), Banking & Finance (Japan), Projects & Energy (Japan), Capital Markets: Securitisation & Derivatives (Japan), Energy & Natural Resources (Singapore), Capital Markets (South Korea) and Corporate/M&A (South Korea).

    Across the Asia Pacific region, the firm obtained 146 individual rankings, including 22 individuals who were ranked in Band 1.
