The month of June has seen material developments to competition law in Germany. On 9 June 2017, the 9th Amendment to the Act against Restraints of Competition ("the 9th Amendment") entered into force with significant changes to German competition law in relation to, inter alia, merger control, successor and parental liability, and private enforcement of competition law damage claims. In addition, on 30 May 2017, the German Federal Cartel Office ("FCO") published new guidance on remedies in German merger control ("Remedies Guidance").
