Navigating choppy waters when venture capital markets tighten risks for directors

Not since the GFC has the spectre of financial distress loomed in the Australian economy. COVID looked scary at first but ultimately, it was a boom rather than a bust for most. But that honeymoon period is over and we are starting to see the screws tighten around the world. This is particularly being felt in the high growth and start-up sector where many companies have raised funds and are not yet at the break-even point.
