The Australian government has released an update to its Critical Minerals Strategy, developing on its first strategy published in 2019. Australia has some of the world's largest recoverable resources of several critical minerals, including cobalt, lithium, manganese, tungsten and vanadium. The 2022 Critical Minerals Strategy aims to make Australia a global critical minerals powerhouse by 2030 by achieving stable supply, sovereign capability and regional jobs and growth.
