As Australia continues to “flatten the curve” and government and health advice turns to relaxing COVID-19 measures, employers should start planning how to approach the transition to return to the workplace.
In this session, we consider:
- When – When can the return to workplace happen? What is the advice of government and health authorities? Will staggered start times, rosters and/or teams work across your work sites?
- Who – Which employees should return to work first? Who is most vulnerable and how to manage risk?
- What – What does return to the workplace look like when managing social distancing restrictions in lifts, meetings, common areas/crib rooms, open plan, shared workspaces, vehicles, on-site accommodation, kitchens, bathrooms, on public transport etc? What conditions will be imposed?
- How – How can the return be implemented under your contracts, policies and industrial instruments? Do you require consent or consultation?
