untied - about the company
untied is the UK’s personal tax app, making taxes easy for the 12 million people who need to file personal tax returns in the UK - self employed, property owners, gig workers and higher earners.
untied uses Open Banking and other APIs to gather information, make tax sense of it and submit filings straight to HMRC - activities which SMEs and others spend 100 million hours and £3 billion addressing today.
untied works with partners including Deliveroo, Revolut, Deloitte and LexisNexis.
untied's founders are tax accountants and automation specialists with previous exits together, and a focus on making software that's easy to use and just works.
untied has also accelerated during COVID-19 - the business launched “untied for gig workers” which generated several hundred thousands pounds of value to users in under a week.
