Alter5 - About the Company

Alter5 is a platform for institutional investors to finance renewable energy projects. Institutional investors can access private debt opportunities including development, construction and long-term debt for utility-scale renewable projects and solar rooftops portfolios. Investments are channeled through a Luxembourg-based green bond issuance vehicle that provides efficient capital market access and strategies with different risk-return criteria. All projects are fully validated by third-party advisers before being onboarded onto the platform.

Alter5's investment process is supported by a proprietary tech platform that digitises the investment process, including project onboarding, validation and structuring. The platform also provides a fully digitised documentation suite.

Investments on Alter5 are monitored via the Alter5 Green Impact Dashboard, which provides real time financial and ESG-related information. Alter5 has developed the Alter5 Green Impact Index, enhancing the evaluation of green investments.

Alter5 has partnered with the European Investment Fund to develop tailored-made financial solutions to accelerate the green energy transition.
