Overview
The New York, Los Angeles and Austin offices currently include over 60 people. Our U.S. offices are centrally located in Hudson Yards, New York, Santa Monica, Los Angeles County and Austin, Texas and we enjoy a vibrant and engaging working environment. Our summer associate program in New York and Los Angeles offers a unique opportunity to work closely with clients on market leading transactions in small collegial offices, while benefiting from being part of a major international law firm.
What to expect
The work: Our U.S. offices focus on a number of key practice areas, including Derivatives, Global Loans, Investment Regulatory, Projects, Structured Products and Tax, and collaborate with our colleagues around the world on a daily basis. As a summer associate, you will be exposed to multiple practice areas and work with both U.S. and global teams during your summer program.

Mentoring
You will be matched with both a partner mentor and an associate mentor who will introduce you to the firm and provide ongoing professional guidance.
Professional development
We offer formal lunch and learn training sessions aimed at providing summer associates with substantive practice knowledge as well as general overviews of of the firm’s practice areas.
Cultural and social events
We plan a range of events throughout the summer program designed to introduce you to the city with a chance to get to know your fellow colleagues.
How to apply
We will be accepting applications for the New York and Los Angeles 2024 summer associate positions beginning in Summer/Fall 2023. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are eager to learn and grow with our U.S. practices. We offer a competitive salary in line with top U.S. based law firms. This application is open to 2L students, and the summer associate program will run for approximately 10 weeks during the summer following the students’ 2L year.
