Campus Ambassadors

We are looking for proactive, driven and organised individuals to represent Ashurst and promote our Early Careers opportunities on university campuses across the country.

You will be the primary point of contact between Ashurst and applicants at your university and will be responsible for advertising our key dates and upcoming events through social media, university societies, careers services, and other appropriate methods.

You will be responsible for organising and managing Ashurst specific events aimed at undergraduate law and non-law students, taking responsibility for hosting, advertising and managing events either virtually or in person.

You will have regular contact with the firm's Campus Action Teams, providing an opportunity for you to build your network and collaborate with alumni from your university.

Eligibility

The Campus Ambassador role is open to penultimate year students at the following universities:

Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Durham, Exeter, Kings College London, Lancaster, Leeds, Leicester, LSE, Manchester, Nottingham, Oxford, Queen Mary University of London, UCL and Warwick

You will have the opportunity to engage with our Early Careers professionals, gaining an insight into our recruitment processes, and will be notified of all upcoming recruitment events.

A competitive salary

You will receive a competitive salary paid in two instalments during your penultimate year at university.

The recruitment process

Our online application is easy to use and gives you the opportunity to showcase your interest in the industry and our firm.

You will complete a series of online games designed to measure your analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities.

  1. Cognify – will require you to complete a series of online games measuring your problem solving and analytical skills.
  2. Emotify – will require you to complete two games measuring your interpersonal skills, leadership potential and capability.

You will complete a virtual interview with a member of the Early Careers Team including presenting a 30 minute pitch as to how you would advertise the firm on campus.
