Dennis Scott is a special counsel in the corporate group in Sydney.
He joined the firm in 1964, becoming a partner in 1970. He
subsequently spent twelve months with a merchant bank in London,
after which he resumed practice with the firm.
His practice over the years has included resources, corporate and
project finance, government projects, capital raising, funds
management, structured products and trusts, and insolvency, as well
as dealing with a wide range of commercial matters. He now works
principally in the corporate and insolvency areas.
As a member of the firm's Opinions Panel he reviews many opinions
relating to major matters. He has lectured in (and co-ordinated)
the University of Sydney Master of Laws (Debt Financing) course for
some 20 years. He regularly reviews and contributes to client
publications.
