Ilario Giangrossi is head of the litigation, arbitration, insolvency and restructuring department in
Milan.
Ilario specialises in civil, corporate and banking litigation (such
as trials involving the validity of shareholders' meeting and board
of directors' resolutions, enforcement of share purchase and
shareholders' agreements, breach of fiduciary duties by directors
and internal auditors, securities and shareholder rights, and
acquisition-related litigation) with particular expertise in
relation to restructuring and insolvency-related matters.
He has considerable expertise in the corporate and banking sectors
having in the past advised major banks and private equity funds in
high-profile private equity and M&A transactions, so he has a
great blend of experience enabling him to provide clients not
only with technical/court-related advice but also with high quality
support in corporate and M&A transactions.
Before joining Ashurst, Ilario was a partner in the litigation
department of a prominent Italian independent law firm.
