Franco Vigliano is head of Ashurst Milan and leads the office's
energy, transport and
infrastructure practice. He specialises in project finance, PPP and PFI.
Franco has been involved in the drafting of Italian legislation and
the definition of standard forms of agreement concerning project
finance, power generation, gas, water and infrastructure.
His wider experience includes banking, M&A, corporate finance,
LBO, real estate finance, asset finance, export credit, structured
finance, restructuring and capital markets.
Franco teaches project finance at Padova University (MASCI Master
programme) and is a visiting lecturer at Bocconi University. He has
published three books and numerous articles and publications.
Before joining Ashurst, Franco was head of the Italian, banking and
project finance departments of another global law firm. He has
practised since 1981 in Rome, London and Milan.
