Ashurst is advising Goldman Sachs and TPG on the €700,000,000
senior facilities arranged by Goldman Sachs International and
Merrill Lynch International in connection with the €1.2 billion
acquisition by Goldman Sachs and TPG of European market leader in
hygiene disposables, Ontex NV, from Candover.
The Ashurst team was led by loan markets partner, Jane Fissenden, who was assisted by
associate, Laura Marr.
A separate team comprising lawyers from the firm's London, Paris, Brussels and Frankfurt offices led by corporate
partners David Carter and Simon Beddow advised
Candover on the sale by its wholly owned subsidiary, Candover
Partners Limited.
Sullivan and Cromwell also advised Goldman Sachs, Ropes & Gray
also advised TPG and Allen and Overy acted for the arrangers.
